Wonderful Steak Resaurant. We decided to go here because of the previous reviews. As we drove up we noticed Outback across the street which is a favorite of ours at home. We debated about which one to choose. Wow, we chose Hoffbrau's and we choose correctly. Having read the reviews and it being a special occassion, we chose the GR8 Filets which were awsome! Service was very nice. We saw a couple of hugh chicken fried steaks go by. For a casual steak joint, we were thrilled with our meals, they couldn't have been better. I would definitely highly recommend this to anyone.

Best steak in Texas!. I live in Texas and went to Hoffbrau steakhouse last night . Our dining experience at this steak house was so fantastic! We were promptly seated and decided since it was so nice out to go out on their great people watching patio . There was a beautiful breeze and we started with their world class margaritas, that were made quite well with a healthy hand on the tequila. We decided to skip appetizers of fried pickles and other Texas unique choices go straight to the full meal. I had the 16 oz T-Bone ( although the 20 oz couples meal they have for $25.99 was tempting with a side each and soup or salad) and the stuffed baked potato the size of a princess telephone with salad topped with their home made blue cheese. The salad was chopped and with REAL lettuce ( I can?t stand the sissy mixed green stuff) with red onions and ripe red tomatoes , on to the steak that was the BEST flavor of beef I have had in a long time, And I live here in Texas! ( this is why I am writing, their meat was amazing) We also had the pork ribs with their famous DR. Pepper bbq sauce that were out of this world! I didn?t even have to pick the pork ribs up, the pork meat was so tender that when I touched it with my fork it ( literally) fell off the bone!!!! Seriously amazing choice of meat cuts! They own their own meat plant and it shows in the quality and flavor of the meat. The service was excellent the decor is old time Texas with a long horn on the wall and everything Texas. If you are looking for the best steak in Texas, go to Hoffbrau. They ARE truly a 100% Texas steak house! ( ps. They have a huge room so bring 20 of your best friends and have a good ol?e time!

Great steaks!. Next to the best city in Texas is Hoffbraus! This steak house is the bomb! They have their own meat plant so you know the meat is from Texas, handled with care and served up at all three of their locations fresh. I can?t tell you what it means to a Texan to know where their meat comes from! This steakhouse has the best burgers you will find as well because well, they OWN their own meat plant in Texas! Don?t be steered by the fancy steakhouses on the tourist trail, go the extra mile to experience a true steak house and a true Texas steak!

Great Steak house. WE had such a nice experience, the service was outstanding as were the steaks. We were surprised at how affordable the food was and the quantity. We saw your billboard on the freeway and stopped in and were thrilled to find such a fun little jewel of a steakhouse. We will be back soon. My rib eye was killer.

WE had the greatest meal. We came back again. Truly great steaks and affordable for our whole family. We loved the sweetwater shrimp and the new roasted chicken. It was delicous.
