We were passing through Amarillo on our way to Montana and it was my husband's birthday. We ate here at the recommendation of the hotel staff. It was easy to get to and close to our hotel. My husband wanted a filet, but the largest they had was 10 oz. The server said he could get him any size he wanted. So he requested 12 oz and that's what he got. I had the 6 oz filet and our son had the barbeque. It was all very good. And we got dessert to celebrate the birthday and it was excellent as well.

We enjoyed our food here - ribs and smoked rib roast. Perfectly cooked. Tender. Friendly service. And yes, check out the bathroom - fun for sure!

Now the brisket and steak are worth coming back for but the onion rings are the best I have EVER eaten. No Joke, whatev er they use for the batter is so good after you try them you will agree that you have never had better! Great atmosphere with alot to catch your eyes including a bar with a mirror that you need to see.

This restaurant is close to our preferred hotel and well patronized by the locals. I usually order the rib bits and wedge salad from the appetizer menu, but their steaks and bbq plates are excellent as well. Highly recommend this for the experience.

We liked this restaurant very much - from the giant cowboy outside to the eclectic decor inside. We had the "Bonnie and Clyde" Steak for two and it was was perfectly sized, tender and prepared exactly as we ordered it. The service was timely and our server was pleasant. Well done! (The restaurant... not the steak...)
